Consulting and Facilitation
A selection of consulting engagements across cultural policy, infrastructure, organisational strategy, and economic analysis. Inkhorn Projects has been active since 2012, with a growing national presence alongside deep Tasmanian expertise.
At the heart of our co-creation approach is the idea that everyone involved is truly equal, each contributing their own important knowledge, experience, and interest in the results. This is not a consultation model, in which an organisation presents its needs and a consultant returns with answers. Our prior experience informs how we structure that space, but it does not predetermine what we discover within it.
The movement between challenge identification, concept visualisation, open innovation, and sandbox testing is iterative rather than linear—ideas emerge that reshape how we understand the original challenge, and stakeholder conversations reveal priorities that reframe what a viable solution looks like. Our role is to navigate complexity with rigour and curiosity, returning the process to testable, actionable outcomes at each stage.
The testbed phase represents the culmination of this iterative work rather than its conclusion. What emerges informs not only the immediate strategic recommendations but also the medium- and long-term frameworks within which an organisation can continue to adapt. This is the distinguishing feature of a co-creation approach: the process builds organisational capacity and shared understanding alongside the strategy itself so that outcomes are owned and actionable by the people who will implement them.
